Huge selection of natural foods. Locally owned coffee and a sandwich shop in the back. Much crowd and great staff. Looks like they have a lot of pet food available. All about great experience and support something next to a large box store. Thank you. View all feedback.

I love independent and operated natural grocery stores. It takes a lot of skill, patience, sweat and tears to survive as independent. Mountain Mama's is a main example of what can be achieved if you want to be and give it your love and devotion. It's just one of the best natural grocery stores I've ever seen. Mount Hope in Cottonwood, Arizona is another example like Semilla Natural Foods in Las Vegas, NM, and both of these stores opened and survived in the late 1960s or early 1970s. Mountain Mama has everything. There are fresh food counters and juice bar delicacies make it not only a place to shop, but also a beautiful place to eat. The workers are all friendly and knowledgeable so that your questions are answered sincerely. It is my kind of place, even if I live 3.5 hours in Folsom, NM; I will be back, independent and thank you for staying strong in these strange times. Oh yes, they have a huge selection af great products, thankfully selected brands.
The deli sandwiches are amazing! They even have vegan options. I love shopping here and would probably come every day when I lived closer. I highly recommend it!
Mountain Mamas is my absolute favorite. Here's why: You can eat fresh food, frozen food, vitamins, supplements, household items, baked goods, food items and lunch all in a sweet, small shop on the Westside. Some of my favorite items are: the frozen grass fed chorizo (which I used for making Kale soup, Kendra Veggie Burger (from the grill, the sourdough spelt (from bakery, and their daily varieties of vegan sides and individual cake slices). Your vegan artichoke dip, and vegan lemons cupcakes are crazy-good!! Everyone here is friendly and helpful, especially Saige and the whole kitchen team!
