What Evan Johnston likes about Springs Orleans:
As a Louisiana native, the Cajun food on the menu is not quite authentic. However, it is really hard to get real Cajun food outside the southern Louisiana. So with the in mind I must say the food is great, the atmosphere is fun, and the lowerless mimosas on the brunch menu are worth the extra money! View all feedback. read moreEnjoying authentic Creole and Southern flavors can be hit or miss at this restaurant, with some dishes lacking flavor and others being overseasoned. The calamari and BBQ shrimp were found to be disappointing, while the Yakamen and gumbo received mixed reviews. The jalapeño cornbread was described as oily and oddly shaped. However, other diners were impressed with the food, atmosphere, and service, with highlights including the Grilled Catfish with Voodoo Rice, Chicken Andouille Gumbo, and Crawfish Éttouffée. Happy hour cocktails and appetizers were also praised, along with the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Overall, Springs Orleans offers a variety of dishes and drinks that cater to different tastes, making it a popular choice for both casual dining and special occasions.
