Shoppers' Grill - Colorado Springs

What a hidden gem! I hadn’t visited in over twenty years, and it was such a pleasant surprise to find a charming spot serving delicious food in such an unexpected location. They’re only open for breakfast and lunch from Monday to Friday, but it’s definitely worth a stop at Bon during their hours.

I had a fantastic experience at this classic diner, where the service was excellent and the food was delicious. It’s not a fancy place where you’d wear a tie; rather, it’s a welcoming spot to enjoy a homemade meal with family and friends. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind.

Shoppers Grill is a fantastic nod to the classic diner experience. My sister worked there in the 60s, and it continues to be a favorite among locals. The portions are generous, and the handmade burgers are absolutely delicious. The burrito special seemed to be a hit, with diners happily finishing their meals. The place was packed at noon. I'll definitely be going back for breakfast next time!

Last week on a pipe and had the BEST open-open bread sandwich! The Bratbeef wes so tender and the potatomaisch were homemade! My friend had the grilled cheese and said it was the best grilled cheese he ever had!! I was back to try some of their other delicious things!! Will return weekly!!!

Do you remember as a kid going to a old fashioned diner with your family, where every table had an American flag, the decor was from memories long ago and the hamburgers were hand made and delicious? Well this is the Shoppers Grill at the Bon Shopping Center. A small quaint diner where everyone was actually talking to each other and not a cell phone in sight. It was like stepping back in time to a place where life was simple and people actually had something to say to each other. Love this place. Simple delicious food at fair prices. I'll be back sometime soon.
