Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant at the Broadmoor offers a unique and fun dining experience with games at every table. While the food received mixed reviews, most diners enjoyed the delicious food offerings. However, some patrons found the service to be slow and lacking, while others praised the excellent service and atmosphere. Despite some inconsistencies, many guests raved about the 5-star quality food, especially the adult milkshakes. Overall, it seems that the Broadmoor's restaurant offers a diverse dining experience that may vary depending on individual experiences.
It is a loud bowling alley with mediocre bar food. Service was fine; the food was tasteless. Noise level is exactly what you would expect in a bowling alley.
The vibe was great, loved the table top chess/checker games! Drinks and food were good. Our service was Awful. We sat for 15 minutes before anyone came over to offer drinks (and it wasn’t busy). Then after being there for 40 minutes and flagging the waitress over to order dinner and her not noticing us (not once looked our way) I had to get up and ask her to come take our order. Of course there is an automatic 20% service fee so she still received $50 on our tab. Was disappointed, when your spending over $200 on a meal, would expect the service to reflect that.
WAITED OVER 20 MINUTES FOR A SERVER TO COME TO OUR TABLE AFTER BEING SEATED. THEN WENT UP TO THE HOSTESS AND TOLD HER THAT NO SERVER HAD YET COME TO OUR TABLE. WAITED ANOTHER 5 MINUTES BEFORE A SERVER SHOWED UP. THERE ARE FAR BETTER RESTAURANTS AT THE BROADMOOR TO VISIT , WITH MUCH BETTER SERVICE. WE WOU.D NOT RECOMMEND THE PLAY AS THEY DO NOT MEET THE BROADMOOR EXPECTATIONS.
Play was a good choice for our teens and visiting family for a casual lunch. The ambiance was great and it was a fun place to hang out and shoot pool or play games while you waited. That’s the thing-the wait was at least 45 minutes after we ordered food. We were the only ones there so it wasn’t like the restaurant was super busy. I did notice it looked like they were bringing food across the hall to the e restaurant so I’m not sure about the kitchen situation. My salad was $27 and was certainly not a $27 salad but there again, this is the Broadmoor so that has to be considered. My recommendation is come to Play for a drink or appetizer, play a game of bowling and lower any expectations for outstanding food. Honestly, the menu on the bowling alley side is better and service is great over there. Don’t even worry about a table. Book a lane and you will be good to go!
It feels like this was the Chili's of the Broadmoor. The food was great but the food took an 1hr and 15 minutes to reach our table of two. We were also placed at a table right next to a pool table with a rambunctious group of kids. Multiple times I was almost hit with a pool stick. Also I ordered a Moscow mule which only had about a shot worth of liquid, very odd. The food was the saving grace. There were also guests that brought their huge dogs with them. It's a little distasteful to have a big Newfoundland next to your table while you're hungry waiting for food. Nothing against the dog or the owners, just not the place to bring your pet...We go to the hotel multiple times a year and that was probably the last time I'll go to this restaurant.
