Oka Ramen 2 - Colorado Springs

The ramen here is incredible! I ordered the Yuzu Ramen bowl with a spice level of 5, and it was absolutely exquisite! I highly recommend dining at this restaurant. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, and the waiter was very friendly!

Vegetarian options: The menu features numerous vegetarian selections for both ramen and bento boxes, which are clearly marked with a green leaf next to the dish name. Parking: Depending on your visit time, the parking lot may be quite tight.

I ordered the pork ramen, and unfortunately, it tasted distinctly like rotten fish. I skipped the fish cake because I'm not a fan of fish, but the overall flavor was still overwhelming. On a positive note, the service was excellent; the staff was helpful. However, when I returned the ramen due to its unpleasant taste, I was still charged for both the original and the remake, which also had that rotten flavor. I couldn't finish it and ended up paying quite a bit without enjoying my meal. This is disappointing, especially since I had a great experience there before. I won't be coming back.

I visited this restaurant for the first time during the pandemic and enjoyed a picnic from the front of our truck. I've returned a few more times since then, and I've found the food to be consistently good, reasonably priced, and the service excellent.

Sebastian was an excellent server. I'm happy to say that the restaurant has returned to its former greatness. We used to go once a week during the early days of COVID when everything was great. However, there was a period when the service became lackluster, with little things consistently forgotten, like seasoning the broth, which left the ramen tasting bitter. As a result, we stopped ordering the ramen. But after visiting last week and again today, I'm pleased to report that the quality has been consistent. I'm thrilled that we can once again enjoy really good ramen.
