Hatch Cover - Colorado Springs

This place is my favorite. Chill, delicious food, good price on drinks. The burgers are some of the best I ever had.

Good atmosphere, wings are some of the best in the city! Onion rings and egg rolls get honorable mention. Attentive waiter!

First time eating here. Ordered the hatch cover burger to keep it simple. First thing is noticed was that well done wasn’t just “technically well done” with an internal temp of 165°F, but possibility of pink, like I’ve become adjusted to at most joints. It was straight up cooked through. The fully charred (but not crispy or burnt tasting exterior and seasoning composition, were reminiscent of a home grilled burger I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some Worcestershire on that mother. Patty filled the (brioche? bun and was a good 3/4” 1” thick. Waffle fries were good and crispy as well, with a fairly generous portion. Overall, a good burger for the price.

Absolutely awesome and spectacular quality food. Waitress solved a food order mix-up quickly and compensated us. Definitely will go again! Restaurant itself is a little run-down, but go for the delicious food.

Great place for lunch. Good menu with a variety of items sure to satisfy everyone in your party. Large dining area with large and small tables. Pro-tip if you join their club steaks are half priced on Mondays!
