El Padrino Mexicano - Colorado Springs

Great Tex Mexican restaurant. The Happy Hour is a $1 off drinks. I sat in the bar and the bartenders were very attentive. My food came out quickly and was very good. The margarita was strong and had good taste. Next time I'm in the jumps.

More like a 3.5. Everything tasted pretty good. To nitpick, most vegetables were so finely cleaned that they just scratched on the fajita plate. Everything could use more spices. Waiting staff were very energetic and friendly, but miss to fill bar drinks. We had time for a second and the restaurant wasn't busy. Will return, nice weekend dinner.

I've eaten here for the first time tonight. the service was terrible. I didn't leave a tip for our waiter. he went several times from our table, and he had to notice that we were ready to order. about twenty minutes later he finally came and asked if we had time to find out what we wanted. my daughter-in-law ordered a margarita and only got her when our food was finally brought to the table. he forgot. I noticed that the glass seemed filled in its totality from ice. cost for a drink with little drink in it. my daughter-in-law had also asked for extra sour cream she didn't get. I asked if he would bring me more water than I had drunk all the glass while waiting for him. I had to remind him a few times. I also asked for some extra serviettes he never brought. I noticed that one of the other servers had an extremely long bart. I asked myself how often his whiskers had fallen into the human food. then when it was time to go after I had waited for the server to take my money, I went forward and asked to pay it there. eating was okay, but the service was so bad that I will never go back.

We like to support local businesses. we went to dinner on September 10, 2022. this was our favorite Mexican restaurant in the opposite. we were so disappointed by our dinner and the service. I have a Taco plate that was fat and old in the Taco shell. my man had the fish tacos he said they were terrible. the restaurant had old cutlery and used cheap paper napkins. the dinner was overpriced and terrible that we will not be back.

Incredibly slow service despite numerous staff members wandering around, chatting with each other. Finally ordered drinks food 15 minutes after being seated. Food was terrible. Side salad for $6.50 is a joke, for a small handful of bagged chopped romaine with croutons, tomatoes and cheese. Fish tacos had very little flavor, corn tortillas fell apart. With so many wonderful Mexican places in the area, will not come back here.
