Our first visit to this downtown jewel of a bakery and bistro. Breakfast on my mind and the menu screamed out, Monte Cristo! What a beautiful dish! Along with Betssy 's amazing service came a fantastic sandwich and sauteed veggies, including carrots and Brussels sprouts. Coffee finished off, take home muffins boxed up and my wife and I pleasantly satisfied. Great job Coquette 's! Seeing you again Soon! E View all feedback.
What Charles Piller doesn't like about Coquette's Bistro Bakery:
I was really excited about their dairy free french toast and their entire concept of incorporating dairy free vegan items but I wasn't as impressed. The french toast was really bland and dry. The toppings that probably would have helped contained dairy. Presentation wise, it looked great and the portion size was just right. Now the carrot cake cupcake was great!!! It could have been a little softer but flavor wise it... View all feedback.
I am very impressed by this restaurant! The food is excellent and all gluten-free, which is a great option for those with celiac disease. The location is stylish, with plenty of private meeting rooms for events. If you're not hungry, you can still enjoy some treats from their bakery display. Overall, a fantastic dining experience.
We recently visited Colorado Springs and have a strict gluten-free diet. We had a lot of great options, but the standout was Coquette. The service could use some improvement, as it can be a bit slow at times, but they quickly address any issues and are generally very friendly. The food is absolutely delicious. For breakfast, we enjoyed French toast, crepes, the Frienchie Hoagie, and chicken and waffles - all of which were fantastic. It's not easy to find such a great selection of gluten-free options. We also had an amazing dinner with fried chicken and fish and chips. Both dishes were superb. It's rare to find a place that executes gluten-free meals at this level. It was also a stress-free experience, as everything was 100% gluten-free. We will definitely be returning to Coquette the next time we're in Colorado Springs.
I recently visited Coquettes and although they only offer takeout, you can still enjoy your meal on their terrace! Everything we ordered was incredibly delicious. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating.
I've had Celiac disease for about a year and that's the FIRST time I could eat with fear of cross-contamination. The food was absolutely phenomenal and decently expensive. So delicious food in a restaurant for the first time in a year was a big step to feel like a normal foodie again. I have very strong reactions to the smallest amount of gluten and I had absolutely no problems eating here and was not looked strange because I was so hyper vigilant about my worries about gluten. Absolutely would recommend and will definitely return!
The number one gluten free hangout. I come once a week at least and grab gift cards for everyone I truly care about. Pictures tell all. Great management. Amazing staff. YOU GOTTA SEE THIS PLACE FOR YOURSELF!
