Dillon and Emily were absolute rockstars!! Of all the cocktail bars I’ve stumbled upon, this one is second to none. Highly suggest the “bartender’s whim” and let these artists work. I’m done with this place. Went today and it was pretty slow, maybe 15 people. Sat at the bar and ten minutes went by without being acknowledged. The male bartender had a fixation with this one group and couldn’t bother to serve anyone else. My husband and I recently went on a vacation to Colorado Springs and happened to stumble upon Axe and the Oak Whiskey House. I'm so glad we did, Emily and all of her co-workers were top-notch employees. They make a mean whiskey sour and my husband could not recommend the blackberry old fashioned more. Don't sleep on the butterscotch liquor either, it's life changing. Wished we lived closer to be regulars. Keep up the good work guys.
This is a fantastic Whiskey House. Their house drinks and overall drink menu are incredible. Their wait staff and bartenders are top notch and the atmosphere is great as well.
Awesome old fashioned! Black walnut was great. Very friendly staff.
