This restaurant is all about the decor. Talk about cool. The plane that is outside the restaurant is actually part of the restaurant. Yep, you can eat in the fuselage. How cool is that? What's even better, you can go up in the cockpit and sit and play around. Also, there are literally hundreds of things to look at. Now, let's talk about the food. I give this a 3 star rating. What a funny idea for a restaurant. We're on the plane to get the full experience. The host and seat were somewhat delayed. But he took us through a beautiful story and some stories to sit on the way. The dishes were hearty and delicious. The Pommes were one of the best parts of the meal. The service was a little slow, but thorough. A great experience to have at least once and would be a fun place to take children. We went during the week without reservation.
This is my second time at lunch in this airplane restaurant, but it is the first for my wife and children. We came here on a very snowstorm day and fortunately we didn't have to wait. We sat right away. The dishes are delicious and the environment is great. Our children played in the cockpit of this KC-97 tanker. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone if you want to experience something else. The flight attendant (server) is friendly. All in all, this is a good place for lunch. I'll be back.
If you are an aviation person, this place is for you. Tons of memorabilia decorate around every square foot of the restaurant. A KC 97 is converted. Service was good, but currently staff shortage made a smaller waiting typical everywhere these days. The food was good. You can eat on a plane or there is a large dining area outside the plane. The owner is on the grounds and ensured that everything was fine until our food and service. I also saw a nice guy. It's unique, so try it.
Not the best burger, bison/buffalo or beef. But the Büffelburger was good. I liked the atmosphere, solid veterinarian owned and operated business, honor all those who have and serve. Location near the airport is nice, food in the hull of the tanker was fun, very child, or playful adults, friendly.
Enjoy the atmosphere and a good meal. You have a choice eat in the plane or under it. Service is good, along with the food. I had bison ruben with fries and my son had the spicy catfish plate, both were delicious.
