This restaurant is all about the decor. Talk about cool. The plane that is outside the restaurant is actually part of the restaurant. Yep, you can eat in the fuselage. How cool is that? What's even better, you can go up in the cockpit and sit and play around. Also, there are literally hundreds of things to look at. Now, let's talk about the food. I give this a 3 star rating. I ordered the Philly cheese steak. It was... View all feedback.
If you're passionate about aviation, this restaurant is a must-visit. The walls are adorned with an impressive collection of memorabilia, and there's even a converted KC-97 aircraft on-site. The service was good, although there was a slight wait due to a staff shortage that seems common everywhere lately. The food was satisfying, and you have the option to dine inside the plane or enjoy the spacious outdoor dining area. The owner was present and made sure everything was going smoothly with our food and service. I also encountered a really nice staff member. It's a unique experience, so I highly recommend giving it a try!
What a quirky concept for a restaurant! We felt like we were on a plane to fully embrace the theme. Although there was a slight delay with the host and our seating, he entertained us with a captivating story as we waited. The dishes were hearty and full of flavor, with the fries being one of the standout elements of the meal. The service was a bit slow, but very attentive. Overall, it’s a fantastic experience worth trying at least once, and it would be a fun spot to take kids. We visited during the week without a reservation.
This is my second visit to this airplane-themed restaurant for lunch, but it's the first time for my wife and kids. We came on a snowy day when the storm was quite fierce, yet we were lucky enough not to have to wait and were seated immediately. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Our children had a great time playing in the cockpit of the KC-97 tanker. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a unique dining experience. The server, who was dressed as a flight attendant, was very friendly. Overall, it's a fantastic spot for lunch, and I will definitely return.
Not the best burger, bison/buffalo or beef. But the Büffelburger was good. I liked the atmosphere, solid veterinarian owned and operated business, honor all those who have and serve. Location near the airport is nice, food in the hull of the tanker was fun, very child, or playful adults, friendly.
Enjoy the atmosphere and a good meal. You have a choice eat in the plane or under it. Service is good, along with the food. I had bison ruben with fries and my son had the spicy catfish plate, both were delicious.
