Island Delight - Colorado City

Man man man!!! This place is great. You can dip or take off. Yes, it's a wait to do the food, which is great, because they actually make sure that the food is cooked properly and not like a fast food restaurant. So be patient and just wait that no need to push perfection They actually put the food where the money is because it is amazing. I came here and expect a good food, now I go with amazing Jamaican cuisine in my belly .

We tried the curry chicken and Iceland's delight chicken. Both were tender and very tasteful from the bone. The fried plantains were perfect, good taste and texture. The coconut bread was also warm and really good. The portions were particularly good for the price and we were much full at the end of the meal. I highly recommend it.

Excellent Jamaican cuisine! Great service and comfortable experience with the employee. He also made excellent recommendations for what is on their menu.

I stopped a quick lunch after work and ordered the Ruck chicken salad. It was done in less than 10 minutes and was delicious! This place must be a regular place! Nothing like a taste of the island on a cold wintery Colorado day!

I ordered the beef patty and curry tofu and it was delicious! Perfect spice level, which I also asked about since I don’t like overly spicy foods so we discussed and agreed on a medium spice level and it was perfect. The flavors were good and I was really loving the veggies. Highly recommend if anyone is trying to get a taste of the island!
