Dante's Pizzeria - Colonial Heights

Visited because two people loved their pizzas and recommended Dante's to us. Very nice staff. Clean and welcoming restaurant. Was helped right away

The pizza is the best!! Their pizza is my favorite around!! But not a fan of any of their chicken, pasta, or subs. Just the pizza.

We went to Dante’s as a large group of adults and kids after a soccer game for a local tournament. After 20-30 minutes of being seated, we finally got our order taken. The staff was friendly and did the best they could, but the kitchen definitely wasn’t prepared for us even though we were the only ones in the restaurant on a Friday night. It took at least an hour to get our food. For some reason the Philly Cheesesteak came with mayonnaise, so we asked for no mayo. The food didn’t have a ton of flavor and was disappointing. Unfortunately will not be a go-to for us next time we’re in Richmond.

At least from an entree standpoint, not at all. I ordered a chicken cacciatore. I got spaghetti, chicken, green peppers. Is there something missing, what about red sauce...coming from New York if you serve cacciatore without red sauce in an Italian home you would be laughed out the neighborhood. If you don't know how to cook it, just google the recipe.

This place is great! my group has pizza and I have a cheeseburger (the pommes are amazing! the deluxe and Mediterranean pizzas were super loaded with hits! our waitress shannon was also great! she came with us into our sillinesse and made the experience even more fun. will definitely go back! soon!
