Tasca Del Sur - Colonia del Sacramento

We had a nice meal in this restaurant. the fries and vegan fajitas were delicious. the portions were quite large. the art woman who waited for our table knew exactly what we thought when we said we were vegan (which is still a little rare in uruguay). there is also a lot of vegetarian eating.

I had the vegan fajitas and they came in a big part, how great! they were delicious. the owner is friendly and very attentive. Unfortunately there were street dogs that are going to eat, and the menu card is somewhat confusing because it is written by hand.

The owner is really nice and she has a lot of vegetarian options. it is a very cozy place to sit

Fortunately, if they sometimes find Veg options in smaller cities, but this place had a separate "veggy" menu. I had the fajitas and they were great

This is a place where you will find homemade cooking and craft beer. For having very few options in colonia, it was a good place, not the greatest food ever but way better than the other option available, and it was refreshing to find that it was tendered by a vegan girl which I suspect was the owner. It offers Mexican food, and has their own veggie menu. Drinks were cold, and service was friendly. It only takes cash so be mindful of that.
