Colonel's fish and chicken takeaway

We didn't exactly stumble upon this restaurant, as it seems to have been around forever. Despite its long history, I only recently tried out this takeout spot. Surprisingly, it was really good and the service was quick, even though it was crowded. There was a charming atmosphere and the prices were reasonable. Plus, they served delicious fries.

I had the worst burger I have ever had tonight at this restaurant. I ordered the veal schnitzel burger and it was extremely oily, causing the bun to be wet and dripping with the fillings spilling out everywhere. I also asked for bacon on it, but it was almost raw. Additionally, my daughter ordered nuggets that were overcooked. I will never return to this place.

There was a hair in my burger and the chips were too salty. I noticed a new group of workers today and they weren't very good. Please bring back the old workers who knew how to make a burger and used less salt on the chips.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!! If i could give no stars i would. My friend and i used the Uber eats app and spent over $30.. only to be given the wrong food. We ordered the fish and chips for TWO but we only got ONE meal with half a chicken, brown chips and one pathetic 600ml coke between the TWO of us!! COME ON!! My friend is a pescatarian and she couldn 't even eat any of it because of the clumsiness of how the order was taken. We called up to notify the owner and got a 'oh yeah sorry ' and he hanged up!! what a joke of a business not to mention disgusting chips that looked brown, gluggy gravy and bad customer service. It 's not like we wanted anything extra from the owner, we just wanted the correct food THAT WE PAID FOR. Forget this place, save your money and go else where!!

Very busy but that must show how it is one of the best in the area! Have lived in the area for 6 months and wish I found this place sooner!!! Only downfall was the gravy was so good, I needed more!
