Pilawoos Food Panchikawatte - Colombo

My first Kottu experience and I can say that it was interesting for sure. I am personally not sure I love the dish but glad I tried it for sure The place is a small, very basic cafe which thrives on being one of the few hours dining spots in Colombo. (A tourist win! Fast service, value for money food and an extensive menu is a definite plus Not the cleanest place, even while everyone had a mask on, and there is a rare case (for Sri Lanka) of staff not being able to speak in English Overall decent.

Always a great place to go after drinks. Food is great, you don't expect anything else I guess here.

This restaurant is located In colpity just on the main Galle road side.. They don't have a parking though.. They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner items.. Their kottu is the special thing... Especially the cheese kottu and the dolphin kottu.. They are so tasty and their fried rice and buriyani rice are also good. ..food price are avarage.. Dine in and take away available.. Dine in place is not that clean and they don't have enough room for many people. Over all if you wanna try some thing tasty and for a good price it is the right place to visit. Also you can visit with kids and family.

During my recent visit to Colpetty Pillawoos, my favorite spot for late-night cravings, I was disappointed by the customer service. Despite my usual fondness for the restaurant, the service at this particular branch did not meet my expectations. The cashier was unprepared and did not have enough change for transactions, which immediately created a negative experience. Additionally, their rude response when I brought up the issue made the situation even worse. As a loyal customer, I had hoped for better treatment and professionalism. The lack of courtesy and efficiency shown by the staff affected the pleasant atmosphere I usually associate with Pillawoos. Good customer service is crucial in the late-night food industry, and this experience fell short. While the food quality may still be good, the poor service at Colpetty Pillawoos is a major deterrent for future visits. As someone who values good service as much as good food, I urge the management to address these issues promptly to maintain the restaurant's otherwise positive reputation.

I ordered the fried chicken kottu and found it to be lacking in flavor and of poor quality.
