What User doesn't like about Okra Kitchen By Ravi Sepali:
Average Sri Lankan food, considering the price and location. Ordered the Lump Rice, which was nice and hot. Though that's really the only positive, I've had this dish around Sri Lanka at half the cost and all have had more ingredients and flavour than this. Very small portions of fairly bland curry inside and quite dry. If it wasn't for the Pol Sambol which I asked for, this dish would have been extremely bland. I ho... View all feedback.

Okra kitchen is on the top floor of the Colombo City Center. Clean place to have food. Here you can enjoy delicious Sri Lankan dishes. We had lunch buffet and the price is economical and affordable. We had enjoyed a high quality food form here. The staff helped and nice.
In most cases, but definitely not here, finding amazingly good food at a food dish in a shopping mall is something of a dream. Sri Lanka's food was right. Good, clean and delicious food at a very reasonable price. I tried the Hopper, the Puttu and her chickens Ambulthiyal Curry... Each of these articles has left me happy. The spices, aroma and authenticity of the Sri-lank foods were very represented in these dishes. Very happy to find good food like this served in a setup like this. I'm a fan! I only hope that these standards will be complied with over time.
As a regular i can say this place is great. Try the kottus including mutton and the new masala chicken kottu. Worth the price as the portions are big. Also if ya having a sweet tooth try the chocolate hoppers, milk hoppers. Recent additions includes their very own take on milo called milo float ..try that out!!! you 'd be hooked.
Went for a dinner. They have a limited menu, but good choices for a dinner. Kottu was delicious, but little spicy. Typically there is a waiting time if you are going with hoppers set menu. Served with Seeni Sambol and Linumiris, quite delicious. Pol roti was food too. All dishes in right portions, for an individual if you are not eating a lot. Not expensive at all, worth for money.
