A one-of-a-kind hotel experience in Colombo. Really enjoyed the pool area. Great for parties and meeting DJ glitch lk.

I recently attended the appè adahas event, organized by appè lanka and the Gratiaen Trust. It was a delightful evening at a charming old villa that has been converted into a boutique hotel. The small snack bar offered delicious snacks, cakes, and drinks. The pool area, with its large verandas, was a cool and relaxing environment. The beautiful garden added to the ambiance. Although the hall was somewhat small, I didn't have time to browse the photography exhibition that was on display. For more information, please visit the Gratiaen Trust's Instagram page. The highlight of the evening was a traditional dance performance by a group of ladies from Bishop's College, who impressed with their costumes and makeup. Jaishree P. Jaysinghe's fashion show was also a hit, featuring stunning sarees and outfits modeled by beautiful girls. Lastly, the podium discussion with past Gratiae award winners and the current owner was a memorable moment for me.

This restaurant is very welcoming and charming. I loved the atmosphere and ambiance. The food and service are excellent.
