I have been to Java Lounge thrice and I would like to rate it a 2.5. Once we went for a quick and easy dinner where we got some sandwiches which were stale and tasted bad. The drinks weren’t good as well. The second time, I had a vanilla frap which was tasteless. Third time was a pastry and hot chocolate which was good. One of the few places in Colombo you can get a proper coffee or experience similar to international coffee shop chain, but this is a local chain operating few outlets in Colombo. The coffee is good, pastries, cakes and desert is good too. The atmosphere both indoor and outdoor is nice and good for meetups.
Good place to have a coffee and relax. The staff is friendly and the food is great. Highly recommend this place if you want to catch up with a friend and do your assignments in a relaxing place.
