Java Lounge Bambalapitiya - Colombo

I went there to meet up with some friends to code and the environment is excellent for work as there are power outlets around alongside tables, chairs and sofas. However, the WiFi is just awful and you are better off with having your own connection. As for beverages, I can't quite comment on it as I am an amateur when it comes to coffee. Food on the other hand could do some work as the chicken sandwich I had was mediocre and the lasagna my friends had was just chunks of cheese

Not to mention the coffee at the Java lounge. The best place to drink high quality coffee is here. And a very quiet, free place. Most important thing is they offers free wi-fi. So you can have a cup of coffee and compile your codes..

Strawberry Cheese Cake was the best to taste while having corporate discussions. Lovely place to visit if you have corporate requirement.

A mixed opinion..... Even though there is a hype surrounding the franchise, the place is having not much of a great ambiance......the seating was bit uncomfortable and the place was not well kept (can see that time hasn't treated nicely to the building very well) the food was nothing to write home about (it was not bad but neither good) but even though the portions seems to be bit on the small size the meals did ended up being filling. But the drinks were a different story, they were pretty great!

A casual cafe situated pretty close to the rocky beach.The ambience is nice with mainly the youngsters pouring in (free wifi with their laptops.We had chicken lasagna. Though the portion seemed medium, it was pretty heavy for one person to finish all by herself.
