Every dish we tried was not just delicious it was a feast for the eyes, carefully plated with artistic flair and bursting with color. Each bite offered layers of flavor that reflect the chef’s attention to detail and passion for quality. The coffee? Outstanding. It’s rare to find a place in Colombo that consistently delivers such rich, smooth, and well-balanced coffee and Grind has truly mastered it. What truly stood out was the incredible customer service. Despite facing unexpected power cuts during our visit, the team remained gracious, transparent, and accommodating. They offered thoughtful alternatives and continuously checked in on us with sincere apologies for the delays. Honestly, they didn’t need to we completely understood the situation but their professionalism made a lasting impression. Grind isn’t just a café; it’s an experience. From the beautifully plated food to the warm service and inviting atmosphere, it’s clear that every detail is designed with care. We stumbled upon Grind in Colombo and were completely blown away. The food and drinks here are next-level, genuinely some of the best we’ve had anywhere in the world. The mango matcha was perfectly balanced and refreshing, the lychee matcha foam was unique and addictive, and the piccolo was spot-on. The breakfast bagel was packed with flavour and so satisfying. Coming from Sydney, a city known for its world-class cafe scene, we were impressed to find that Grind not only matched but actually surpassed some of our favourites back home. Every detail, from the quality of the ingredients to the presentation and flavour, was on point. If you’re in Colombo, this is an absolute must-visit. We’ll definitely be back! I... read more If you are around the area you must drop in!! I had the Korean fried chicken burger it came with not 1 but 3 whole pieces of deliciously marinated chicken!!!! I also did try their Matcha and as a self proclaimed matcha expert i give this a solid 10/10!! The color was vibrant, you can actually taste the matcha!! My bestie got the chicken poke bowl and a iced latte which was 10/10 as well! Highly recommend this place!! Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
