1864 Edition - Colombo

Amazing fine tuning restaurant next to the Galle Face Hotel in Colombo. Quiet place, with a unique colonial interior. It was recently changed with a modern decor inside. At the entrance is the bar area that leads into the dining area, with some private dining areas that are lined to the side. The food is served as à la carté or you can choose to have a meal (input menu) consisting of 7 courses. Amazing food! Very delicious. Good selection also available. We could also taste their unique sorbets that were the best! Drinks were very good, we were offered our selection of cocktails or cocktails if necessary. The staff was very polite, helpful and accredited to all needs. Very well informed about the menu and drinks as well. It's on the expensive side, but it's worth the money. Very recommended.

This is a good restaurant and lot of known people has passed through here

The place is nice with so many comfy couches to sit and chill. Good layout. But have to walk a little far from the entrance passing the buffet area.
