A cozy neighborhood pub with good food, very friendly service, and delicious Kölsch beer. Always a pleasure.
A restaurant in Cologne, located in the heart of Ehrenfeld, with a daily specials menu and a wide range of delicious dishes, some of which are typical Cologne dishes. Outdoor seating is also available.
Always good. With a large selection of vegetarian dishes.
Update: Today, the cash-only payment policy was really annoying me. First, I walked to the nearest ATM in the light rain. It was out of service. Then, in the heavier rain, I returned to the restaurant. I asked if there was an alternative payment option. Unfortunately, there wasn't. Then I walked through the rain again to a more distant ATM. I don't quite understand why that's the only option in the age of PayPal, instant bank transfers, etc. : Update: The Chardonnay from J. Ambs is my new favorite wine here. Before that, I tried the rosé from the daily menu and the Blanc de Noir, which were also tasty, but not quite as good. The white wine blend Wurzel Flügel, made from Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Blanc, was delicious! I hope it stays in our selection permanently. : An exciting organic white wine from Italy is due to arrive next week. I'm excited! We're always on the lookout for exciting organic wines.. : The schnitzel was also delicious.. and the waiter pleasantly surprised us.. we'll be back! :

Great. Today lamb roasts with potato gratin and leaf spinach picked up. Was still hot at home and super delicious. Especially I enjoyed the chat with Chris the very friendly host.

The Wicleff is one of the many institutions in the Veedel. Sympathetic operators serve here in a beautiful atmosphere a selection of petty-bourgeois dishes where every guest should be served.
Clams were Mega. Super competent service. On a delicious ambience. Always like that.
