We've been visiting Lütticher for several years now – the food is consistently high quality – always fresh, delicious, and impressive. You receive a warm welcome and attentive service without being intrusive. For us, Lütticher is one of those restaurants in Cologne we always enjoy returning to.
We had a fantastic evening! We ordered the three-course menu for €58 per person, and every course was absolutely delicious, both the vegetarian and meat options. The rump steak is highly recommended! The outdoor seating is also lovely in the summer, and the service is very friendly. We'll definitely be back!
Lütticher has been our living room in Cologne and our favorite restaurant for many years. And that's despite the fact that we usually love trying out new restaurants. Why have we made an exception for Lütticher for so long? It starts with the interior and the cozy atmosphere, which instantly makes you forget the worries of everyday life and is refreshingly unpretentious. The menu is small but exquisite. They offer a three-course set menu that can be customized with several appetizers, main courses, and desserts. If you're not feeling quite so hungry, you can also order individual dishes à la carte. The dishes are consistently creative, flavorful, and of consistently high quality. With a three-course set menu, you certainly won't leave Lütticher hungry, even if you have a big appetite. The Lütticher experience is perfectly rounded off by the personal, attentive service (Toni and Marziar), which is always friendly and humorous. And in the summer, an intimate and very attractive outdoor terrace awaits guests. We regularly try out new restaurants and, because of the aforementioned advantages, we always enjoy returning to the Lütticher!
Three of us went there for dinner. The service was fast and well-organized, and the food was okay, though nothing special. The lighting in the dining room was so dim that the menu was barely legible—whether that was intentional remains to be seen. On the other hand, the lighting in the kitchen was clearly visible through the glass panels, so you could occasionally make out small, quick movements. Perhaps just a mistake. Unfortunately, the chef's pushy manner later added to the unpleasant atmosphere. For us, this will be a one-time visit.
