We stayed in the Trip Inn Conti Hotel so this bar was only a one minute walk from our hotel,its a bar I always look forward to visiting as I've been here quite... read more We stayed in the Trip Inn Conti Hotel so this bar was only a one minute walk from our hotel,its a bar I always look forward to visiting as I've been here quite a few times now on previous holidays to Cologne, it's a solid...locals bar serving great food and iced cold beers. I love the look of this bar,a beautiful green tiled serving bar ,wonderful decor and furnishings including some great decorative features throughout the bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside on their cool outside seating area. We were here on a Monday afternoon and this place was full,we very luckily managed to get a table were a very pleasant member of staff took our order of a beer each,we opted to have a Gaffel Kolsch each,these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and took in the great bar we were in. The Kolsch beer served here is excellent, a light,hoppy beer with a big foamy Head served in the cool distinctive narrow Kolsch beer glass,it was just so good being in such a great bar enjoyong such a delicious lager style beer . On this visit I cannot really comment on the meals as we were here only for beers but I have ate here on many occasions over the years and the meals are just superb, proper pub grub. We really enjoyed our beers in here and although we only stayed for the one beer each before we moved on as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Herr Pimock is easy to locate along Aachenstraße,a street and area teeming with pubs,bars and restaurants. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, till Friday, till Saturday, till Sunday, till A wonderful bar ,one I highly recommend you visit if your in the area

What I didn't like so much was that when I ordered a whole-grain roll with Nutella and butter for breakfast today, there were raisins in the roll . I've never had a whole-grain roll with raisins before, and of course, the combination didn't taste good at all
