My family and I stayed here for 3 nights when my friend got married. Even though the weather was terrible, the location was fantastic. The food is very good, the staff are polite and helpful and the bar is also very nice. The wedding was brilliant and it is a brilliant place for someone wanting to get married. I'll definitely be returning when I'm next in Oz. Thanks for a brilliant 3 nights. View all feedback.
What Elaine D doesn't like about Colo Riverside:
a good little cafe to stop for breakfast, morning or afternoon tea or lunch, near the river. Eat inside or out, room for kids to play, plenty of parking. Good basic food at reasonable prices Travel then about 9ks up the putty road, stop at the colabra tree at colo heights. Place a bra on the tree raising awareness for breast cancer. Stopped for lunch on a drive out today. Glad we did, yummy chips and the Hamburgers were ust delicious. Definitely going to return. Excellent!
Our car club turn up for a booking but double the amount of people came . The staff were fantastic . It still remains one of our favourite cafes
Stopped here on the way down from the Hunter Valley for a quick lunch. Menu is pretty good for the location, the toilets were clean and the restaurant was nicely set out in a canteen sort of way but was comfortable. We had Bacon and poached eggs on turkish with added hash browns, all cooked perfectly Really good find along the Putty Road. Also staff were very attentive and efficient.
We stopped here on the way to the Hunter Valley from Lithgow and also on the way home. The coffee was really good and the sandwiches very fresh and filling. The full meals ordered by other patrons looked amazing and really good value. Toilets were clean and the restaurant was nicely appointed and comfortable. A really good stop along the Putty Road.
