T... read more My partner and I visited Bannisters for lunch yesterday, Thursday, April 7th, before exploring the area. We were incredibly impressed as soon as we walked in! The greeting was both efficient and friendly. The entire restaurant was spotless, and after guests left their tables, they were thoroughly cleaned. All the staff were cheerful, friendly, and worked very hard. I had the poached salmon open sandwich, which was beautiful and very fresh. My partner enjoyed the cheesecake and absolutely loved it! Thank you to the staff for their hard work and for providing such a delightful dining experience! - Sue and Andy

While I admired the presentation of the food, I was taken aback when my mother-in-law's meal was served. The fish was very small, resembling more of a child's portion. At a price of £9.95, it felt unfairly priced for the portion size. Overall, I left feeling disappointed.

We were greeted with a warm welc... read more My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Bannisters Restaurant, situated inside Boundary Mill, on Monday, October 4th, 2021. We were greeted with a warm welcome by a very friendly maitre d', and a waitress promptly showed us to our table and took our drink order. We decided to try the fish and chips, which were absolutely delightful. The staff, all of whom were kind and wearing face masks—a vital precaution in the ongoing battle against Covid-19—made our experience even better. The restaurant itself was spotless, with tables being cleaned and sanitized quickly after guests left, which was a refreshing change from some other places where dirty tables are often left unattended for too long. A big thumbs up to everyone at Bannisters Restaurant!
