The place was lovely, the typical Alsatian dishes were pretty good, I loved le rognon and the local pinot noir. The staff was very kind and they suggested us to not take too many things because of the richness of Alsatian kitchen, I really appreciate that, it was against their profit. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about La Musardiere:
We'd had a big day driving around the Black Forest and were all tired and hungry, so chose this as it was close to our apartment and had a few spare tables. We expected it wouldn't be great as it is in such a touristy area yet was relatively reasonably priced. It was ok. The food came out quickly, the kids meal came out first, and the food was fine, but not great. The waiters were polite and efficient if not friendly... View all feedback.

We arrived here, where there was a table for 4, after a long journey. It was a lovely summer night and we sat out on the terrasse opposite. Our order was taken quick enough by the waiter but was told the chef wasn’t doing pizza that night, but a waitress corrected him and said he was. We ordered a carafe of pinot blanc and was surprised when a bottle was placed on the table but was told it contained the same amount, the waiter didn’t serve the wine. It was getting late and you could tell the waiter and waitresses were tired, hot and ready to finish. Their pizzas are normally served with a salad but even after asking, they didn’t arrive. All in all, we took this experience lightly and with humour, we were after all on holiday. We compared our waiter to Basil Fawlty which fitted him well... In our experience the food was fine.

It started to lightly rain on a warm evening, none of the waiters nor the owner closed the awnings even though it was raining on people and their food, until a guest asked for it to be closed. The house Pinot noir was awful. The menu has English as well which is helpful. You need to ask for what you want (extra drinks, bill etc), they are unlikely to offer it.
Had one meal here during our stay in Colmar and the food was good and reasonably priced but the service really needs to be improved. It's all a bit chaotic and disorganised. The food is basic but good and the guy serving is nice and friendly. Don't want to put anybody off eating here but be prepared for a somewhat chaotic experience.
My friends and I were so excited. The restaurant looked nice from afar and we were really hungry. The waitress was soooo rude. She straighforward said "don't annoy me because I'm tired, I've been working since 10a.m. !" that's her job, she should not be telling clients this. We ordered two different pizzas, fries, 3 beers and tap water. We waited for 50 min (!!) not just for the food but also for the drinks. It only came because we had to ask the waitress, otherwise we would have waited longer. Horrendous! We finally got the beers (the tap water, however, she forgot)..and realized we got the ones we specifically told them we didn't want ( French is my native language so she clearly understood our order). Next to us, there were 2 couples that sat down and got tired of waiting for the waitress and they left (we should have done the same). 10 min later we got our food. I mean, waiting that long is not supposed to happen, but we thought that the food would at least be good. WRONG! The pizzas (that were supposed to be completely different) looked the same and tasted DISGUSTING. They were burned, but somehow not fully cooked in the middle, we couldn't reconignize what ingredients were actually on them, the cheese was aweful...should I go on? the tomato "sauce" tasted like they just poured the entire thing directly from a cheap can. When we finished eating (yes, we miraculously ate a bit because we were starving) we were ready to pay. We waited and waited and waited..put the plates on the side..waited waited..never did any of the employees walk or look toward us. They were too busy smoking, flirting with each other..whatever. My friend put her hands in the air, waved, even spoke loudly (at first respectfully then louder). The other guests all around turned around so they could clearly hear us, but somehow the employees couldn't. We got annoyed, stood up and walked toward the waitress and asked if we could pay. She rudely say "go over there!". Not "sorry for keeping you waiting" etc. Nothing xD at this point it was ridiculous. We went inside and paid with pennies.I usually don't write reviews, but this time I just had to. Absolutely ridiculous and horrendous. I don't understand how they can treat guests like this.
