Arriving in Colmar we went to the old town for dinner. So many places to choose from but sometimes simple is best. We went and had a flambecuchen which was delicious. We also shared a simple chicken schnitzel. The wine we selected was a Pinot Gris. The wine was excellent and the schnitzel average. The service was quick and the waitress was pleasant. Not a bad spot for a simple meal. The cost was moderate at 30 Euros which is good value. Worth a visit.

Very expensive bar for a very poor service. Drinks were served with too much ice, beer of poor quality. When we returned a drink for this reason the manager came and tried to charge for it again. He was rude and obnoxious. Never coming again
