We were warmly welcomed by friendly waitstaff and shown to our reserved table. The ordering process was straightforward, and our meals arrived promptly after we placed our orders. I appreciated that our waitress was knowledgeable about the availability of dishes in the kitchen. It's definitely a place worth visiting, but I recommend making a reservation in advance. Nice pub/restaurant. has a good parking space and an outdoor seating area in a beautiful village. the food was delicious and the service was fast. the prices were in the deep to the middle.
Excellent pub with friendly staff. Everards' beers and good range of gin and other drinks. Visited at start of Jubilee when special bbq menu on food was great but can't comment on standard menu
As per usual we had a fantastic meal at the Collyweston Slater. Beautifully cooked, great service and no scrimping on the portions!!! Nice choice of real ales and desserts as well.
Lovely, friendly pub. Plenty of outdoor seating and good range of indoor seating too. Live music, see events board
I came to get a meal with my family but got turned away, not because of lack of tables, but being accused of doing drugs in the car park before entering. I am diabetic, was checking sugar levels and taking insulin before entering Upon walking to the door 2 members of staff asked me to leave because they knew what I was up to and I could not enter . I was confused by the statement and asked them to elaborate but was informed that the owner had sent them out as she was watching us in the vehicle. It was an assumption of taking drugs that led to this awful welcome, I 've never been asked to leave anywhere, especially before getting in and for taking medication... Very disappointing and embarrassing as there were people sat outside witnessing this. EDIT: I do not have the wrong place, I live locally and know You 're located between Kings Cliffe and Stamford. Your response shows your ignorance and I 'll be happy to come back for the conversation you refused to have on the day, instead sending 2 barmaids out of the front where you have a small seating area before entering. RECOMMEND The Royal Oak, Duddington. Offers great service, fantastic with my 6 year old daughter, provided off the menu items and the food was amazing.
