Porter's Steakhouse - Collinsville

This restaurant is fantastic for dining! The service is top-notch and the food is absolutely delicious. Despite not being as expensive as other establishments we frequent, the quality is still exceptional.

We typically eat in the bar area, but decided to dine in the main dining room during our latest visit. Three out of four people at our table ordered the Porter's Special, which includes pepperloin, shrimp scampi, and whipped potatoes. The meal costs $65 but can easily be split between diners. I was impressed by the reasonable prices of their side dishes, such as the creamed spinach for $6. However, the Caesar salad that two of us ordered was disappointing for $10. It was small, lukewarm, and lacked flavor. I would not order it again. One person ordered the Porter's salad, which looked great and was a good value for the price. For dessert, our table shared the carrot cake priced at $16. It was huge and all four of us were able to enjoy some and take the rest home. The carrot cake was consistently delicious and a great way to end the meal.

We had a fantastic evening at this restaurant! Our server Keith was extremely professional, well-informed, and attentive. We will definitely return in the future!

Our waitress, Laura, was awesome. She has such a wonderful personality and took excellent care of us!

Our expectations were met once again as we dined at Porters. The service was excellent and the food was delicious as always. This fine dining experience is well worth the cost.
