I really enjoyed my Gyro Greek salad at this restaurant. The salad comes tossed in dressing by default, but I was happy with the generous amount of gyro meat. The avgolemeno soup was also delicious. I ordered the tzatziki dip, but I thought that for $10, the portion of bread could be larger. View all feedback.
What Ramon Deavila doesn't like about Fazzi's:
Great food. Though I had an angry worker give me an angry attitude when I picked up my food because I ordered through Google maps and not on their official website. I had no idea they were so offended. They could have been polite and I would have directly went to website instead of Google maps. Now I feel unwelcomed there. View all feedback.
Food was very good. I was hoping for pizza but got the sampler platter. I was hoping for an adult beverage...but no bar. Interior a bit tired. Server was attentive.
The food is always delicious! The wait staff is very attentive.
I 've always liked this place, and it is locally owned. I only wish they had more really traditional Greek food. They used to have Humuus and I think maybe Falafel, not sure of that one. But the Calmari was excellent, and literally the only place I knew I could get it. I wouldn 't trust any other place, even national seafood chains to get that right. As it is, it 's heavily anglicized Greek food, with steaks fries and the big rotating loaf of LAMB SPAM... but the tzaziki is good, and Gyro Salad pretty nice. And nothing is done poorly. Just wish there was a bit more of an alternative to the American carnival food that permeates everything these days. Nice folks!
If your comfort food is Greek or Italian, this is a great spot. Large portions, and although busy on a Sunday at lunch, still room to accommodate a large family group. Friendly service, although stretched a bit thin by the crowd. The worn building indicates it's been a favorite hole-in-the-wall spot for a long time.
Great Greek food. The Moussaka was very good. Better than Spiro's in Saint Louis.
