Indian at collie Indian restaurant

We have indian food often and this was terrible, no depth of favor i really dont know what they were thinking. Overly sweet sauces and a woolies nan! Barely eatable

Brilliant food and customer service. No complaints whatsoever. Always have leftovers for the next day.

The girl greeted us at the door,she was so helpful,the table was lovely,this young lady could not have been more helpful. The meal was delicious and well priced,we brought home enough for another meal. I recommend this restaurant 100%.

Encouraged by the positive reviews, we decided to try this place out for dinner on our most recent visit to Collie.It's a bit of an odd bird, this one. I'm a little bewildered by some of the other reviews.On the positive side, the samosas and bhaji are decent, the prices are good, and there's a certain freshness about the food.On the downside, this is clearly an operation run with the barest number of staff and with, perhaps, a less complete kitchen than you'd usually expect of an Indian restaurant. The naan, for example, doesn't have the taste or texture of something that's come off a tandoor, but is incredibly thin and insipid, like something you'd do in a frying pan at home. The curries are of an odd texture. They lack that creamy or silky finish that is usually the hallmark of good Indian food, remaining a little gritty and chunky, and there's not the depth of flavour and complexity that I desire. Overall, the food is OK, but certainly not worthy of some of the glowing praise that has been lavished upon the establishment.

Great taste of Indian food in a place where normally people pick up their food but we went there to eat because we were passing by. We had the mixed plater and everything tasted with real Indian flavours
