We were disappointed by this restaurant. The quality of the food is clearly below average for Sicily. The grilled vegetables were burnt and dry, the pasta sauce boring and over-salted. Although we were almost alone in the restaurant, we had to wait 45 minutes for our food (and for some bread). A real pleasure when you are traveling with two small children and when the restaurant is barely heated on a cold winter day. View all feedback.

Hey, we went with our friends today for lunch. we ate well, abundant dishes, good quality of food. Nice staff, I recommend.

We had a delicious lunch here. Very simple pasta but that's what we wanted. The restaurant is 50 metres from the most famous corner of the Targa Florio race course and this place is well worth stopping at if you're driving the route. Two spaghetti dishes and a bottle of Sprite and a Coca Cola for 16euros. Very hard to beat. We arrived at 12:30 (opening time) and by the time we left the place was filling up.

The La laterna looks from the outside rather inconspicuous ... but even at lunchtime it is very crowded and many locals sit here to eat ... From the inside Italian is simple and a bit cool decorated ... the staff despite a little English friendly ... somehow we misjudged the quantities of the portions ... we had a mixed starter plate ... then primo pasta and also a main course .... appetizer and spaghetti would have been enough, but our mistake ... The spaghetti portions are really good and very nicely done in a pan. The meat was not convincing, it was tough and the mushroom sauce was very overloading .... that's why only 4 points ... delicious wine ... good price Leistungsverhältnis ... for a lunch otherwise absolutely recommendable ...
