I took my daughters out for dinner while I was visiting them at TAMU. Our server Nicco was great. He was very attentive to our table. The sommelier Hunter was super nice and knowledgeable. The food was outstanding. From their hot corn bread to their filet mignon and to their Chilean Sea bass. Desserts were also fantastic. I will come back next time I am in College Station, View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Porters:
The food was ok overall. The service was very slow. The servers definitely need additional training. They kept delivering food to the wrong tables. And staff were not very attentive to the customers. Simple things like busing the table after appetizers, main course before bringing dessert. View all feedback.
My steak was a bit burning on the outside, but everything else was AMAZING! Our waitress was excellent and would recommend this place to everyone.
The food was delicious! We can the brunch and my father and husband got the meals with the steak. The steak was the best steak I have ever had! The **** mary’s were delicious too!

Dane was a great waiter! Cocktails excellent. Filet always good . Sides are wonderful- Brussel sprouts, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes. Cod was excellent
