I booked a table for 5. When I got there they told me all they have available was outside patio in the rain! There was no patio options on the reservation and certainly not going to dine in the rain! The restaurant was extremely busy, but they were able to squeeze the 5 of us in a table for 4. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Juanita's Tex Mex Cantina:
the salsa was kind of weird- was thick and tasteless. the queso was also super thick and tasted like only half melted Velveeta cheese. the real escape was delicious and the steak was great. my advice. jump over the chips and dives and simply get them the escape. View all feedback.
Experience was great. the timing was good and eating was hot.
The menu is interesting with options that look really good. My issue is that everything we ate from the chips and sauna, queso, ground beef enchiladas, refried beans were extremely spicy! I realize spice is subjective to the eater, but I typically enjoy ‘hotter’ foods than most. Everyone at my table said the same. Fajita chicken was the only dish edible, the other plates were way too spicy!! I ate here once before and it was NOT this spicy, so not sure what has happened!
Lovely setting w interesting menu. Not your usual Tex Mex. Friendly service.
Pleasant staff although there were miscommunications in portion/pricing on a couple of items; little interest to resolve without prompting. Festively, but not gaudily, decorated. Food was well presented and good; some items too salty
Great food and atmosphere!! Will definitely be eating here again!!
