I went in for lunch today, after it being recommended by a friend. First, I would like to say that it is great to see the owner working the cash register and taking orders, so it was already off to a great start. I ordered and not even 2 minutes later, my food was out! How awesome! And then I tasted it! This is the best barbecue I’ve ever had. And to top it off, the place is Aggie Owned and Operated. The brisket was the best in College Station! Everything was great, the potato salad was different, probably secret recipe, not sure what was in it but we loved it. Great value, highly recommend. We give an 11 on the scale of 10!
Roy May,... You got a hit here man. What else can I say. Pulled pork left me still eating long past the 'I 'm full ' point to the 'Oh man I am stuffed ' and still going. Good quantity for expense. Great food. Looking forward tot eh Brick and Mortar version when you go there. Nice add to my list (short list) of local BBQ worth eating.
As a native Texan, I like to enjoy wonderful BBQ like the next person from our state and let me tell you, after my first visit to Good Bull BBQ it was worth every dollar I spent there. The staple of a great BBQ joint will always be the brisket in my opinion and hands down this was the best brisket my taste buds have ever had. From the friendly staff to the just at home environment you have when you sit down to eat, there isn't a better place to eat terrific BBQ than at Good Bull BBQ. Not only is it THE best BBQ in the B/CS area, but it is easily one of the best BBQ places in the Lone Star State! Can't wait till I can say one day I have tried everything on the menu because I know it won't disappoint.
We had GoodBull BBQ cater my graduation party, and it was delicious! The service was excellent and the food was amazing. Everyone at my party couldn't stop raving about how good the food was. The meat was cooked perfectly, and we all agreed that the cole slaw was the best we'd ever had. Every side we ordered was delicious, and the barbecue sauce was great (although the food was easily good enough to eat without it). I highly recommend GoodBull BBQ and can't wait until they open their restaurant!
Roy made up some brisket tacos for me. Outstanding. Add it to the menu. Also, for the cost of one plate per hour you could have someone there helping out, selling twice as many plates.
