What Pattie Braun doesn't like about Abuelo's Mexican:
The food was OK, but the service was excellent. I like to eat at Mexican restaurants and have tasted real savory dishes but this restaurant ran a little short on real savory. The tortilla used to make the enchiladas and the burritos were a little hard, for my taste, and lacked original flavor. The prices were OK but some of expensive dishes were not as tasty as the average plate. I would go again but ask about their... View all feedback.
Very good food, much of it is either authentic (similar to what my relatives make homemade, but plated prettily! Their cocktails are very well mixed and creative, and the service is absolutely top notch. Our server Dylan was an absolute pleasure. We came for lunch specialties and left happy in a food-induced coma. I'll be back!
Great place! Food delicious customer service is excellent! I go to guys for great recommendations and superior service is Jackie Littlefield, greeting is Kaitlin Kirby and server Candace Christenson!
Great food and drink selection. Authentic Mexican cuisine, combined with good customer service. Especially try their Sizzlers and make-your-own Tacos. There is another room for groups of 10-15 if you ask yourself (not in the photo). There is also a separate menu for vegetarians, if necessary.
Superb margarita, tasty palsy beef Fajitas, Cheesy Corn Chowder. Friendly staff. Wide range of food from enchiladas to fish, pigs, chicken and beef plate.
My wife and I are fans, especially of the chips and salsa. Secret tip: they have habanero salsa that you can request at any time. In the photo, it is the one on the far left, and it is great! The food is always excellent... Never had any issues! The 5th star is missing because to be politely blunt their beer on tap selection is honestly awful for a place that has such a great menu. Not only are there only five selections, but two of them are hideously cheap American beers (Bud light and Coors... Yuck). I understand that you are not a full fledged bar, but this is a nice environment, with an excellent menu, and deserves a much better selection of craft beer.
