What Mary R dislikes about Pear Tree:
We do not visit Coleraine often, maybe every 6 weeks, and today was the second time we went to Pear Tree only to be informed that there was no hot food available. This was at 3:30 pm and the ovens were already off, which we found to be completely unacceptable. Last time we were told the ovens were off at 3:45, so it seems to be getting earlier. We have enjoyed delicious meals here in the past, but the board outside s... View all feedback.

Update: take them during COVID restrictions, get the vegan sausage roll that comes with beside salad, best worth lunch in coleraine! a deli-style caffe with trendy interior decor. Do you think it was a long time ago, so the name? tested mainly because of the fact that rishi sunak had packed out almost everywhere else, although it was popular here too. no seating, but enough to do. has vegan sausage roll plus one side for 1.90 large hearty and beautiful tasting roll. also avocado and eggs were smeared in an acidic manner. also makes cafe lovers from ni from the old days like the baked kartoffel plus bon so a diverse kind of menu. again everything beautiful, well made and also had an Americano coffee, which was basically smooth. for coleraine quite good eating options for lunch. many coffee vendors in the opposite and are opposed to competitors at any level from below market gregg’s to the market lost and found. better eating than the earlier and better service than the latter. updated by previous review on 2020 08 13

I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of vegan foods and delicious coffee and crumb teas in pear tree. the personal is friendly and willing to help them find their perfect eating. great prices and in any case a must try coffee shop!

An infertile experience. the staff is nice and helpful, it is child-friendly and eating was incredible. 5 of us had a meal, and we all loved our food. if they eat in coleraine for a shopping trip and imagination or are a coffee, this is clearly one that I would recommend.

Very friendly personalized clean and easy to relax to eat

Super choice on the menu, all day breakfast, brunch and fab selection of sandwiches. Lovely coffee and all the staff as so pleasant and helpful, super service.

Nestled in the heart of Coleraine, Pear Tree has been a delightful discovery for locals and visitors alike. Renowned for its inviting atmosphere and friendly team, this cafe excels in both quality coffee and an extensive, homemade menu. While patrons rave about the delicious bacon rolls and hearty vegan options, some have noted service inconsistencies, particularly with food availability during afternoon hours. Nevertheless, the cafe remains a popular stop for those seeking comforting dishes and a unique lunch experience. With delicious offerings like the Galgorm Chicken bagel and tempting pastries, Pear Tree is an essential pit stop for food enthusiasts.

The quality and standard of Pear Tree food is excellent. The home made soups and sourdough bread is delicious. The Belfast Bap is great and the hot foods and salads are so good and such good value. The staff are so helpful and very friendly.

We stumbled upon this restaurant unexpectedly one sunny Tuesday afternoon. The lunch menu was ideal and the portion size was perfect. I also enjoyed a fantastic black Americano coffee, the best I've ever had in Ireland. We finished everything on our plates and would definitely come back if we were in town again.

Came across this coffee shop last week, and it's an absolute gem to find for Coleraine town centre. Great oat milk latte to take away, I didn't order food but seen lovely home cooked cafe style food being served and it looked great. Will definitely be back.

I went to this café on Tuesday for lunch with a former coworker. The food was delicious and the person taking our order was friendly. However, the menu was too extensive and confusing, which made the ordering process slow. I suggest simplifying the menu so it's easier to order quickly and efficiently. The long queue during lunchtime was frustrating as time is limited. Hope the food quality stays consistent.

We’ve been here fairly often either for coffee/scones or a light lunch. Either way, it’s all very good friendly, efficient staff and tasty fresh food. The only negative relates to the giant bins of commercial waste literally parked 18 inches from the outside tables for collection. This was early afternoon maybe a Council issue but it’s rather off putting.
