Was Anonym at Mont-merce a mag?
during the summer are several days we come to dine to this restaurant and the truth it has, very good ratio quality Price. The service is fast and efficient, the tapas and snacks are more than good and the truth than having dinner next to the bar for the prices it has is quite difficult to overcome. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Mont-merce:
We went to this restaurant to eat something fast and continue our way, but the service is a little slow, because we had to order the aliioli twice. At least one of the cards was outdated, because the price I was marking was for a beer and instead they charge you a small detail that costs very little to solve. the food was normal and the garliced price to be a beach site. We dined here twice during our stay in Colera. Food was generally very good, but... I ordered the garlic prawns, which were very spicy (this was not mentioned on the menu), and you could not taste the garlic at all as a result. Also the ice-cream for dessert was so small, two really tiny scoops of ice-cream for €4.50, our children were very disappointed by this.
Best lunch or any meal that we have had during our stay so far. We happened to pop in here for tapas. Just passing and it looked quite busy. Obviously mostly locals, which is a good sign. Beautiful location on the edge of a bay. Service v good. Food really delicious. Amazing fish tapas. Squid, prawns in garlic and chilli. Tiny little fish, all crispy and padrones and some fries. Everything had its own flavour. The only thing fried were the tiny fish. A memorable meal. Thank you
Faultless in every aspect! Lovely table looking towards an inlet of the Spanish coast. Tapas and fish dishes much appreciated by our group of 8. We lunched in the shade of a canopy so were protected from the direct sun. A welcoming address between Cerberes and Llansa.
We arrived around 1.00pm and the place was just starting to fill up. The friendly staff seated us and the varied and tri lingual menu (Catalan, English, French with pictures was easy to choose a few dishes from. I particularly liked the “Tiny little fishes”which were just as described, loads of tiny fried fish! Goats cheese salad and Patatas Bravas plus Anchovies Pan Amb Tomate which was huge were ordered They brought us extra plates so we could share. The food arrived very quickly and was delicious, staff very attentive and friendly and when the coastal breeze started to gust strongly they quickly lowered the side panels so we could eat in comfort. In all a really pleasant experience.
If you are en route along this coast and prefer not to stop in one of the several ports which are heaving with tourists in the season, call in to this unfortunately named Colera and on the sea front the Mont-Merce will provide good but simple fare. We found it very good value for simple food and friendly service.
