Located right in the heart of the Cold Spring on Main Street, it offers fresh baked goods (closed Sundays). I searched online before I see in the store what their selection was, getting a feeling what to expect. I quickly learned that the options on their website are not necessarily the options they have when you are in their business. The website is more of a general overview of their offers, but what is actually available varies day by day. A wonderful employee helped me from behind the counter. She was very sweet and seemed to have all the knowledge of the bakery and its treats. I told her I had never been before and she was both patient and courteous when I made my decisions. I decided to get their monster cookie bar (listed as a monster cookie dough online) and ginger sandwich cookie. I had hoped to also get her glazed swirl donut, caramel roll and double chocolate-chunk muffin, but unfortunately they had no singles in this case. The muffins were available as 4 packs, and they told me they freeze well, but we don't have enough space in our freezer so I couldn't buy this this time. You can also order various large cakes. I also thought the St. Paddy's Day Klee cookies are so sweet, but not bought themselves. You currently have both St. Paddy's and Easter baked goods perfect for families with small ones. They also have shelves of fresh bread for those who have no sweet tooth. I will be back for a French bread in the future. Both the bar and the sandwich cookie were amazing. I ate the sandwich cookie on the day of purchase. The biscuits were chewing and it tasted like Little Debbie's, but there's a lot of cream in the middle so that a bit hard had to end. I ate the bar the next day and it was just as soft as it was when I got it first. Melt in your mouth and let me wish I had a whole pan of it.

We ordered a smaller cake and a few cupcakes for our wedding reception, and both were delicious. They did an excellent job that tasted the cake after sharing some inspiration pics, and only a few cupcakes were left at the end of the night! We also really appreciate the arrangements they made to get delicious, gluten-free cupcakes for us that they already have a way to really seal the nutritional needs of our guests the deal at our end. I initially wanted a charming birch tree design, but unfortunately, it didn’t turn out as realistic as I had hoped; instead, it appeared rough and somewhat unappealing. However, the cake itself was delicious!

W... read more We used Cold Spring Bakery for our wedding desserts, we love their donuts and cookies and we got married just on the street so it was not a brain to use them. We went to our tasting with the idea that we only cut-out sugar cookies for our guests, but the cupcakes at tasting were so delicious we ended up a mixture of almond cupcakes, carrot cakes and sugar cookies. Can't beat the quality and price. You have also set up our desserts on the Great Blue Heron for a small fee. Best part: we can go back every year and have our same wedding contracts.

We decided to make Mini Desserts sorted for our guests, and they were a hit! Cold Spring Bakery delivered it together with our cake (with our flowers and tupfer on it) and put it all out for us. The desserts were delicious and we look forward to having our cake again on our 1 year anniversary! Would recommend HIGHLY CSB for your wedding desserts!
