What Brenda Vanoudenhove doesn't like about The Inishmor:
Took a 45 minute ride to go here. Wasn’t even open because they ran out of food. Won’t be open until Thursday. You’d think they would have posted something as significant as that on their website instead of on the door. Very disappointing. We watched a lot of people try to go too. We Will never go back. I live near the shoreline, and in recent years have been disappointed in the lobster rolls. What a surprise to find the best lobster roll I have had in a long time right in the heart of Colchester! My husband and I are ready to go back for more lobster rolls and to try their other offerings! Full disclosure, though, this place is extremely small and it is warm inside. The people are super friendly and the food is so wonderful that it is absolutely worth going there! And it looks like they do a huge takeout business so that's definitely a great option as well.
Great place for fresh seafood, local beers, and outside seating. Highly recommend the scallops and lobster roll!
The restaurant has delicious hot lobster rolls! You order inside, but the one server was very willing to help was very attentive to our needs! You can sit outside on the sidewalk so a little noisy due to street traffic! They do have a couple of tables inside the restaurant with a high counter as well if you don't want to eat outside! Parking: There is street parking or a parking lot within a close walk to the restaurant!
I see it all over channel 3 for it's selection of food. They did not disappoint. Went there with a friend and the food is great. The atmosphere is pub-like, but it has a bar. The only thing they really need is more space, but being downtown in Colchester, it's a good place to have the restaurant.
Goto restaurant in CT. Most of the food is locally sourced and fresh. The servers are kind and attentive. Specials are always on point, highly recommend. Wife ordered a dish one time she did not care for, but they were accommodating and we do not hesitate to return. There is a reason why they are the best Irish Pub in CT, 3 years in a row!
