Despite our initial impression of the restaurant not being... read more We were traveling through Kansas and looking for a quick bite to eat when we found Twisters on Yelp. Despite our initial impression of the restaurant not being great, we decided to give it a try based on the good reviews. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly waitress and excellent service. The patty melt and pork chop were delicious, but the German kartoffels were the standout dish. We even brought home leftovers to enjoy for breakfast the next morning. This experience taught us not to judge a book by its cover.

Seat yourself whe... read more Definitely worth going to! The front of the building kinda throws you off because it doesn’t look like a restaurant. Low light setting inside. Seat yourself when you walk in. Family friendly! The food was fantastic. They also had tv’s up with different sporting events playing, a bar you could sit at, and pool tables in the back. Staff was very friendly. I think they may have been understaffed though cause we saw our server twice. She never had the chance to come back to refill our drinks. That’s ok though and won’t deter me from going back again!
