Simone Coffee Shop - Coimbra

This is one of our favorite places in Coimbra. As I have celiac, I need sem gluten options and that is often salmon or risotto at least in this city. The salmon on potato stack at Simone is the best around. My husband loves their desserts. The service is second to none!

Since I need sem gluten options, I was thrilled to find this place! Their salmon/potato dish is incredible and no bones in the fish!!! Would love a sem gluten chocolate mousse or something similar for dessert, but I just have a treat at home.

A great brunch selection. I told the waiter I didn’t eat meat so they reinforced my order with extra salmon. It’s part of the hotel so the service was top notch too.
