this was my second visit to luca and it was just as delicious as I remembered. I had the grilled chicken breast with a limette and crimson sauce, kartoffels and small salad. recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal in coimbra. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Luca:
For me it just wasn’t it. Quacuamole tasted like it wasn’t home made and the rest of the food was a medium for me -except the Hamburger-. Problem I think is that this is to hip, or at least it was for us. View all feedback.
It was nice to arrive in Coimbra and have a lot of vegan options after being on the Camino. I enjoyed cappuccinos and an avocado toast sitting in the plaza.
They have vegan and vegetarian options and we were questioning if the mayo then was vegan, since it also said vegetarian and most of the time they take the sauce off (since mayo is with egg 99% of the time). We asked and the waiter went to another table to ask the owner (we think it was the owner). He was easily saying: yes, it's vegan. So I've told the waiter that most of the time it is vegetarian. She went back to the owner, that responded with rolling his eyes, sight and said; I said it's vegan. My friend had another question and it was all way too much for the guy. His arrogant respons was enough for us to conclude that we didn't want to spend our money there or eat there and left. Since I'm allergic to egg and milk (I told him), he could have been polite, got up from his chair and nicely talk to us. I wouldn't spend a cent there
Lovely cafe with plenty of options. Had the oat milk cappuccino and avocado toast. Everything is clearly labeled as vegan. Fooo was fresh and delicious.
