Japones - Coimbra

The sushi here is of absolutely top quality. The chef uses a great variety of portuguese fish with amazing creativity. The level of service is equally top notch and guests are made to feel very special indeed. There are so many dishes to love that the best really is to try the tasting menu. Honorable mentions for Pregado e tinta de choco , Picadinho de carapau and Tataki com Miso , but all others really equally amazing. Thank you fo a very special night, I heartily recommend this restaurant.

Ambiente super porreiro, atendemto 5*, gostei imenso de pratos como o ceviche e as gyosas de porco. Os niguiris de sardinha são do melhor. Foi uma ótima experiencia

It was a phenomenal experience. The owner came out took care of us. She accommodated my younger brother with autism made sure he was ok. She recommended me what drinks to try and was very accommodating with us being vegetarian. She made our experience amazing. The food was the service and food was top notch. While we are vegetarian, every dish from the apps to the desert were awesome. I 100% reccomend.

We absolutely loved it. Even during COVID-19 situation, we were able to make a reservation with Sara’s big help in last minute. She has lots of knowledge of fish and great recommendations. The waiter was very sweet too and location in nice neighborhood. My important appointment was canceled that’s the reason my husband and I were there and 2nd time to visit the town but this restaurant made us think nice town to come back again!

This is the best Japanese restaurant in Coimbra and it has the best sushi I’ve ever eaten. It’s not even comparable to the other ones in Coimbra and even in the country. Even in Japan I haven’t eaten such a good sushi.
