Sweet little cafe located very close to Santa Cruz church. We were there off season and very shortly after Portugal had begun to see tourists in between COVID variants) so for most of our meal we were the only people in the place. Lovely modern, urban vibe, wait staff clearly aiming to please and lots of good choices for food. We started with the usual olives and bread which were welcomed on a cold drizzly evening. Hu... The price is expensive whereas food is not tasty and the staff, for most of them is not friendly. I ordered a fish (according its taste: frozen) really bad cooked : no sauce, very dry and not fresh. View all feedback.
Sangria was good and the tábua mista was delicious.
Nos ha encantado la comida y especialmente el local y su servicio que ha sido excelente
I have been recently in this traditional restaurant with some friends and we enjoyed our lunch meal. The restaurant os very well located in front of Santa Cruz church, a must see atraction in Coimbra All the facility has suffered a re-styling and it is now very clean and cozy with two dining rooms and a rooftop bar. Cuisine is Portuguese traditional, in a home made mood. We tried pork turnips and cotelet rice with fine herbs and it was really good. I recommend this place for a unpretensious, but good!, meal for those who are visiting Coimbra and want a fair Portuguese meal.
Soooo good. Service was exceptional!! Never once lacked for anything. We wanted to split two different entrees and João timed everything. Food was delicious, nice wines, strong coffee. Couldn’t have had a better evening.
