Couraça - Coimbra

It's a really beautiful place. It is not easy to get there from the river level, but it is worth it. Meals are good, beer is cheaper then in other places I visited. Very recommended.

Fast service, very hard working. Cheap prices and decent quality food. English menu available when you ask. Great view!

Seemed popular with people on their lunch break as well as tourists so that is always a good sign. Both had the calamari which came with chips, rice salad plus beer/ wine and two espresso. €6.50 each. Lovely views over the river and clean toilets.

We had a delicious lunch vegetable soup, dorada fish grilled with potatoes, carrots and broccoli), delicious desert chocolate mousse and doce de amendoa. Superb view of the hills. Service a little rough there are a lot of customers and they have to be efficient which they are). Good prices for the quality.

We stopped by this restaurant for a quick espresso. The waiter was rude and unfriendly and directed us to a table without a view, despite the restaurant being empty. We did buy a sandwich but we were still unable to sit at a nicer table. Too many other nice, friendly cafes in Coimbra. Will not go back!!
