A Cozinha Da Maria - Coimbra

One of the best meals we had in Portugal. The Chanfana (Gott) dish was so delicious. The meat fell directly from the bones and the sauce was so tasteful. All we tried was fantastic.

The best small restaurant in Coimbra! Excellency! What a find! It must be 5 stars for such flavors. We had the Carne porco alentejano and the Bochechas porco. Amazing! If you are in Coimbra for a lot of time, go to 'A Cozinha da Maria', you will not be disappointed. Also... Great wine and beer selection, very clean and tidy, well managed and organized, excellent friendly staff.

Chanfana lived up to expectations as did the grilled octopus. We also loved the pastel de bacalhau!
