Asked around for a good place to have Non Veg food at Coimbatore near the railway station and everyone suggested Subbu Mess. Incidentally we were staying right... read more Asked around for a good place to have Non Veg food at Coimbatore near the railway station and everyone suggested Subbu Mess. Incidentally we were staying right next to it. Tried the biriyani which was spicy and what I expected from a Tamil Nadu Non Veg hotel. The rice was soft and meat pieces were very tender. Also tried Mutton Varuval, Kudal fry. The best thing was service and the way asked around for white rice after our biryani was over. We were served white rice and rasam. We returned for dinner and tried parotta, Chettinad chicken and Garlic chicken. The garlic chicken was a let down but everything else was a hit including the gravy they serve along with the parotta.
