Contribute FeedbackWe stopped for lunch on Wednesday and were blown away from eating. the waitress, however, was rude and grumpy during the meal. Nevertheless, we thought that we would book dinner on Saturday night, as eating was good for lunch. I have sent the restaurant by email, via the link on this page and got an answer within an hour that confirms our dinner reservation. we went by cogne, arrive early and look forward to dinner. the waitress came directly to us and told us we had no booking. we showed her the email and the link via trip advisor. she told us that the restaurant wasn't even on trio advisor, so we must be wrong. the point of this review is that the owners of the restaurants let know that errors are made and that there is something wrong with the link on trip advisor. is important the review is to let the owners know that the woman who works there is simply rude for customers. we experienced this at our first visit, but were willing to return because of the quality of the food. I see that other reviews have written on trip advisor who say similar things about this employee member. it is probably worth offering her some coaching feedback. a very disappointed group that does not return at their next visit.
Restaurants in the area offer here rather very traditional regional cuisine of the young chef tries something else. most used products are local and the dishes are not outdated, it is just that there is a bit more creativity, modernity and personality that I think is to applaud. a sweet with curgette flowers came with a wonderful saffron sauce and was very pleasant (I just wished a little more curgettes and curgette aroma in the tete). strozzapreti (sort of the dumplings) were well made and the sweet wobble cream was excellent. a Venison stew with Polnta cream was perhaps a little one-dimensional, but certainly satisfying. the best dish of the evening was a delicate and perfectly cooked (damped) local trout. desserts were tasty and balanced (a crema di cogne' and a yogurt mousse with wild berries), but they were the only two I think are desserts also about bakery and texture, not only creamy Causes', and so maybe a little more could arise in this section in the future. (as always the Tegoline tulips with the mouse were). service was very pleasant in a quiet evening. the wine list could be improved and integrated, but had some good choices. the room is great, and so is the miserable. prices are fair for quality. all in all, I had a very good dinner here with carefully selected ingredients of good quality and an experienced chef at the heart. a few improvements here and there and this nice restaurant, still in its first life year under the current management, could become a top.
Armed when most people came to the end of their meal. the waitress was very friendly. my wife he had home salad unusual with much obst I had the buratta with tempoura veg. followed by wild boar ravioli and gnocchi with tomaten. all very tasteful and at a good price.
Look, this is a very good restaurant, great view, great wine card, personal are beautiful. however, this is the right valdaostan kitchen seriously heavy goods. my velouté went to see olive oil, the lactose-free trota-creuda of my wife came with a huge puppy game of...cream in the middle when they are not local, they probably want to ask for something upstanding on this front.
We found this place during a long walk in the region and decided to try it. So glad we did as the welcome received as we booked was equally as good as that on the evening we arrived for our table. The menu and specials...were explained to us in English and the pace at which the courses were brought to us was just right. Lovely friendly atmosphere and most important of all the food was superb. Don't miss it!
